Active in the market since 2000, Gil works as an Illustrator and Cartoonist and is the founding partner of the studio Pingado Sociedade Ilustrativa since 2001. Their work covers a wide range of projects for the editorial, cultural, advertising, and educational sectors, with publications featured in prestigious Brazilian media outlets and major publishing houses (Folha de São Paulo, Estado de São Paulo, Abril, Moderna, Saraiva, Globo, among others).
